First Central Tower The 17 story First Central Tower is located in the bustling downtown St. Petersburg area. This is a one of a kind, solid glass curtainwall building that is not easily missed even from miles away. Over the years the harsh Florida sun took it toll on this glistening tower. The new owners and managers, Osprey, determined that it was time to replace the caulking on the complete exterior to prevent water intrusion. A company was needed which not only had the skills necessary to rig a project of this size, but to do quality work and provide a long term warranty backed by the manufacturers. Bay Area Painting & Waterproofing, Inc. was hired as the company of choice. The project is a success and was performed with little disruptions in spite of the months of activity required on the exterior.
